Frequently Asked Questions

I get it—your pup is family, and you want to know they’re in good hands. This FAQ is here to give you a clear picture of how I do things, what to expect on walks, and how I keep every adventure safe and fun. If you don’t see your question here, just reach out—I’m always happy to chat about your dog!

  • How long have you walked dogs professionally?

I’ve been walking dogs professionally for 3 years. In that time, I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments—everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs who prefer a slower pace.

Beyond just walking, I focus on building balanced packs, encouraging good manners, and making sure every dog gets both exercise and enrichment. My experience has taught me how to read canine body language, manage group dynamics, and create safe, enjoyable adventures for every pup.

  • Do you have experience with my dogs' specific breed or size?

Every dog is welcome at Pack Pups. The meet and greet helps me understand your dog’s behavior, personality, and how they interact with others—so I can place them in the right pack for their needs.

I’ve worked with dogs ranging from 15 lbs to 175 lbs, and there are no banned breeds on my walks. What matters most is finding the best fit and ensuring every dog has a safe, positive experience.

Are you first aid certified?

Yes — I am Pet First Aid Certified through Wag N Walk, with certification valid until January 2028. This training ensures I’m prepared to respond calmly and effectively in case of an emergency.

  • How long are the walks and how far do you usually go?

Our walks run anywhere between 30–60 minutes. The distance really depends on the pack—some dogs love to walk steadily, some are runners, and others are happy sniffers who like to take their time.

That’s why it’s so important to match dogs with similar energy levels and walking styles. A well-balanced pack means every dog enjoys the walk at their own pace, whether they’re full of zoomies or prefer a more relaxed adventure.

  • Do you offer solo walks/ groups walks or both?

Why Pack Walks Over Solo Walks?
At Pack Pups, we believe dogs thrive in small, balanced groups. Pack walks give dogs the chance to:

  • Socialize in a safe, structured way with other dogs.

  • Build confidence by learning from the calm energy of the group.

  • Get more stimulation through both exercise and interaction, not just walking alone.

  • Practice good manners around other dogs and people.

Solo walks provide exercise, but pack walks offer exercise + socialization + enrichment — turning every outing into a “big adventure” instead of just a bathroom break.
